Fort Bend and Stafford School District get their Ratings

Fort Bend Independent(FBISD) and Stafford Municipal(SMSD) School Districts recently received their district and campus accountability rankings. This rating is provided by the Texas Education Agency and ranks them on their overall performance. Fort Bend received a 82% Exemplary, which was 55 of the 67 campuses. This is a large increase over the 67% Exemplary score from last year. FBISD Superintendent Dr Timothy Jenney had this to say "Once again, we've seen exceptional growth in many of our scores, and we congratulate our teachers and students for their continued hard work, that is reflected in the significant gains made on TAKS this year".

Stafford Municipal School District received an overall rating of "recognized" and was the fist such in 8 years. While Stafford Intermediate and Stafford High School received a rating of Recognized, and improvement of Acceptable from the year before. In order to receive a rating of Recognized, the student body must at least average a score of 80% on all exams.

Both of these schools are preformed very well and have continued to improve. Both of these school Districts are another reason to move to Fort Bend County.
