Compliance Letters for New Territory Residents have started to go out again. HOA Violations

The New Territory Home Owner’s Association(HOA) recently sent out this update and I wanted to pass it along:

At the last Rep meeting we were told that Compliance letters would once again be sent out. Because of the cold winter and very dry summer, letters were not sent unless there was a major issue.

Because we have had some rain, the letters will be sent out asking that:

1. You replace any dead bushes or plants in your yard.

2. Fill in the vacant areas of your yard where the grass has died.

3. Pull weeds in your landscaping beds and your yard. Keep in mind, if you mulch your beds that will not only help to keep the weeds down but will help retain moisture for your plants.

4. Clean up all the leaves and mud along your curb. After some of the latest storms, the streets are flooding a lot more and having leaves and dirt go into the sewer is not helping.

5. Mow regularly and most of all edge!

6. Take care of any ant mounds in your yard. We have a lot of dogs in our neighborhood and some of the anthills I’ve seen could cause some serious problems for animals as well as children.

7. Please remove all Christmas lights from bushes and icicle lights from the roof.

Check your home for rotten wood and paint if needed. Your home is one of the biggest assets you have and if you do the maintenance routinely, repairs will not be so overwhelming.

If you get a letter, regarding a major issue and you are having financial difficulty, call the Chidinma, Compliance Coordinator and she will be happy to work with you.
