The Woodlands - A "Destination" for Relocation

A primary source of new business for me is people relocating to the Houston area from another state. They have surfed the internet for information about the area. They have found this wonderful master-planned community with naturally forested trees, more than 150 miles of hike and bike trails, the best schools you can find and good roads, including a quickly traveled toll road into the heart of Houston.

Once they discover The Woodlands, they begin to seek property information and contact me. Whenever they share their contact information, I can begin the orientation. There is so much that is different in the Houston area. We have NO Zoning. We have MUDs. Cities such as Spring and Cypress are actually pretty general terms and don't necessarily define a particular community. Without a guide that specializes in relocation, it can be a pretty steep learning curve.

Adam Waldman of Long Island Real Estate has begun a new group on AR for those of us that work with relocating families. I look forward to learning more about what he has in mind. I have no doubt that his idea will give us another way to capitalize on the many benefits of being in the Rain.

For more than two years, more than half of my business has been a result of relocating buyers that come from the internet. I understand the volume of information they need and I am committed to meeting their needs.
