42nd Annual Tomball Holiday Parade will be Saturday November 17th starting at 10:00.
The Tomball Holiday Parade begins on Main Street at the rail road tracks in downtown Tomball and continues down FM 2920 to SH 249. Main Street in Tomball is FM 2920.
What better way to start your holiday season off than to kick it off with a parade. This year is also a birthday party so to speak as Tomball continues to celebrate their Centennial year.
You won't want to miss it. Their will be about 175 entries including marching bands, drill teams, mounted units, decorated cars, floats etc. etc. etc.

Marchel-This looks like it's going to be so much fun. I love parades. You provide such excellent information for your community.
Julie, it is a fun parade. When I was with ABWA we had a float in the parade. As we were riding along employees of sonic skated out and brought sodas to us.
It can still be fairly warm here for the parade; chances are we won't even need a jacket.
A holiday parade BEFORE Thanksgiving???? Give me a break :) I'd prefer they wait until the Saturday after Thanksgiving!
Marchel, I will be in Pasadena and LaPorte this weekend. How many minutes, allowing for traffic, would it take to drive to the parade? I would love to see it since it's been over 40 years since I have seen one in real life, but it may be too far from where I am staying? What do you think?
Also how did you like the e-pro class you took? I'm thinking about taking it soon. Do you think it is worthwhile for an experienced agent to attend. There are so many things I don't know.
We have a trucker's light parade - and it looks like I am going to miss it this year... traveling again... I love a parade - enjoy Marchel
Mary, I think they have been doing this holiday parade the weekend before Thanksgiving for the last 42 years. It is not really a Christmas parade more of a parade to start the entire holiday season.
Kay, you are going to be quite a ways from Tomball. We go to sail boat regattas in Kima and it takes us 1 hour 15 minutes to get there.
I took the e-Pro a long time ago but I found it very beneficial.
A trucker's light parade; that really sounds like FUN!!! Where are you traveling to?
Marchel - This parade sounds like it will be so much fun! I bet the little ones will really enjoy this.
Marchel - I love a good parade. It sounds like you get a good mix of bands and floats. I think it is a great way to kick off the holidays. Enjoy
Hi Marchel,
The Christmas parade are starting all over the country. I love parades and they just set the tone for the holidays.
Candy, it is a lot of fun, you have to get there early to find a place along the route as it is so popular.
Judy, it is a good mix. They allow 175 entries so you have to get your application in early to get a place in the parade. It was fun riding in it the years that I did.
Cynthia, parades are a great way to start out the holiday season. The weather looks GREAT for tomorrow also. I can remember a few really rainy parades so that is great. It is actually supposed to start raining tomorrow evening.
Hi Marchel, Are you ready for the holidays? How's the business? How on earth did you get the buttons on your blog? Did you use html? Let's talk soon. Deb
Marchel,
I hope the parade was fun. Our in town is the first Monday in December and both my kids are usually in the parade.
Hi Marchel, you always post these great community activity reports so people can take advantage of the local happenings and color. Very nice....
Debra, I used html to put the buttons at the bottom. I can help you if you would like. We need to meet sometime soon.
Rita, I was working during the parade. I hope you have good weather.
Gary, Thanks for stopping by. Even though we live in the Houston area it is great that we have so many small local events that take place.
Marchel,
Great information, I have seen that you put so much effort in everything that you do, that's great, keep the good work :)
