Why Women's Council of Realtors?

I just wanted to blog and let everyone know what an amazing time I had at the Orientation for Women's Council of Realtors. When I first joined the group, I joined mainly for the educational offerings that they provided and thought that was all that I was really going to get out of it. I was DEAD wrong.

The three day orientation held in Conroe, TX was one of the most wonderful things that I have ever done. When we arrived we were all greeted with open arms, hearts and minds. Not only were these professionals, kind, warm hearted and loving, but they were passionate about this organziation and it showed.

Women's Council of Realtors is a network of successful REALTORS® empowering women to exercise their potential as entrepreneurs and industry leaders. As leaders WCR encourages their leaders to grab the hands of other members and pull them forward to help them accomplish their goals and dreams. I witnessed first hand how they practice what they preach, and that made me a believer.

It has been since 1995 that WCR has had a new chapter form, but during that weekend, we were able to announce that, the Women's Council of Realtors, Heart of Texas Chapter, Chartered. We want everyone to know that WCR is for YOU and we are here to help you acheive whatever it is you want to achieve.

I am now very passionate myself about this organization and it has touched me in ways that I can't even explain. I feel like a sponge and I want to absorb all that I can from this wonderful group of people and learn how to be a leader, not one who dictates but one who helps others acheive what they want and through that I will be able to learn more than I ever thought possible. Join me in making this newly formed chapter one of the best their is by joining yourself, who knows what you will get out of it, but it can only be positive.
