For the folks that have stopped by my blog here at at Lakepowellrealty and joked around about photos off my back porch... here you go!
Yesterday I walked out of my driveway to the street and shot the following three photos. These are all from the corner of my driveway looking basically north-ish. There was a storm starting to build which arrived today. It has been raining, well sprinkling, all day which is great news! With only 4 to 8 inches of rainfall a year, rain is good.

Looking almost due North to the Monument and over Wahweap

I love it out there in the West. Every couple of years we try and get out your way. Last time out there we drove the Grand Circle. Great photos, now I want to travel. Have never been out there in the winter but maybe someday soon.
Jeffrey - Winter at Lake Powell is awesome - we don't get much snow, usually only three or four times a year, but when it hits the buttes behind the lake the contrast is amazing. Things to look forward to........ Wave if you ever do the Grand Circle again - we are easy to find - you know, we're in the middle :-) Cheers!
Hi all. In America, they want you to accomplish these great feats, to pull off these David Copperfield-type stunts. You want me to be great, but you don't ever want me to say I'm great?
I am from Burundi and now study English, give please true I wrote the following sentence: "Preschools are designed in such a way that they encourage the child to explore the new environment, learn new things and adjust to the surroundings accordingly."
Thank you very much 8). Mika.
