Utah Radiant Floor Heat and Snow Melting Systems Can be Easily Inspected by an Infrared Home Inspector.

During a home inspection today, I got my first call of the Pre-Winter Season for a Roof Snow Melt System. I immediately started thinking about my new Ski's that I can't wait to break in at Snow Basin. The snow is not far away!
Radiant heating and snow-melt systems are more popular than ever in Utah. Finding a company to install a new system can be easy but finding someone to provide and affordable and extremely accurate inspection WITHOUT trying to sell you something else can often be another story.

All Four Images Are Verified To Be In Perfect Operation With No Defects

Using an Infrared Home Inspector is the cheapest and most accurate means of having any type of Radiant Heat or Snow-melt system inspection. Several Radiant Floor contractors and installation companies actually call us to verify the systems they install.

Notice the Plumbing Line running beneath the floor. If there were any leaks within the pipe the Infrared Camera would instantly detect the exact location of leaking

This is a good example of how infrared cameras can be used: to test if radiant heat is operation properly and fully covering desired areas. Malfunctions can be detected and addressed quickly and accurately with high quality infrared cameras, then recorded for future use. Also of note is the locations of the highest temperature read, 100.2, and the lowest- 76.5
