The Utah Association of REALTORS (UAR) recently published the October 2010 Local Market Updates for Utah. Iron County is doing well. Home sales in October of 2010 are up 11.5% over October 2009. Year to date (YTD) home sale statistics are even better and are up 18.5%!
The median price range, however, has dropped YTD from $149,500 to $132,000. I believe that indicates the trend of our market here. More buyers are purchasing homes, but they are very conservative and are serious bargain-shoppers.
I totally believe this is a great time to buy homes while prices and rates are affordable! Please call Janet Naisbitt-Bagley team at ERA Realty Center at 435-865-1019 or 800-934-3742 or email naisbitt@infowest.com.
Check out the inventory of attractive bargains including short sales, foreclosures and new construction at www.homesincedarcity.com. Janet's team can give you top service with every home which saves you hours of time.
Janet loves referrals!
Have a great holiday season!
