Mountain View Corridor Connecting West Utah County to I-15. For all the commuters in the Northwestern area of Utah county this is fantastic news. The massive Mountain View Corridor project is 1/3 of the way complete with their stretch opening this Saturday the 24th of September. Its a three mile stretch connecting Redwood Road with I-15.

For those of us who drive this commute you will know that this helps eliminate the long drive currently in place. The new route is just North of Lehi but south of Thanksgiving Point. This stretch of the Mountain View Corridor features a bike path and a trail for walkers along the Jordan River.

With this opening, commuters living in Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs who need to commute up or down the I-15, just gained a large improvement in their commute and quality of life (less commute time, more time at home or doing what you enjoy). The corridor is a massive project that is in process it is projected and planned to extend through Salt Lake County eventually connecting with interstate 80.
