Am I the only one who is wondering where this year has gone. I know the older you get the faster time goes but I don't think I am that old yet. I am a Gen Y Broker Owner of Cornerstone Real Estate Professionals in Logan Utah. We started our company this year with 2 agents and now have 30 of the most professional agents in our small market. In October we were #2 in sales and in November #1. I am trying to get myself before the year is over to sit back and reflect on what we have done this year.
I feel that because we have grown so fast this year I have been focused on the task at hand every day and this year has slipped away. I am not complaining at all as we have positioned ourselves nicely for the shift we will have soon back to the good old days of selling.
One thing I have noticed is that our experienced agents are focusing more and more on getting better and learning so they can still make it in our slower market. I think that is why we are now #1 in our market of just over 100,000 people. This has been a great wake up call for most of us.
Let 2009 bring more positive news about real estate and a bit of normalcy back into our lives. God bless all this holiday season and wish you all the best next year.
