Infrared cameras, energy audits and thermographic scans of homes

People must be opening their utility bills and after the shock subsides they begin looking for ways to reduce their Questar or Rocky Mountain Power bills. In the past few weeks my websites have been hammered with visitors, the like that I have never seen before. Doing my research into the keyword anaylsis and referring URLs - they are searching for: ways to cut my utility bills, or ways to save energy. Most of them are coming from people searching for information about having thermographic infrared imaging done on the inside of their home to see where the cold air is coming in from. The most popular search topic lately is "thermographic scan of doors and windows". People are wising up and know if they can seal up their thermal envelope and stop the heat loss they can save $$$. Most of my customers are seeing a 25-35% reduction in their Questar bills this year after they retrofitted their home based on our energy audit recommendations. I did some new homes in Perry Farms lately and was shocked to see all of the areas that needed sealing and added insulation, so it is not just the older homes.
