Love your backyard in Tooele

Love your backyard in Tooele

As I sat in my backyard the other night, I realized what a truly great place I live in. Tooele County may seem far away or like you are living in the country but I think those are two of its greatest assests.

I spent my childhood living in the suburbs outside our nations capitol and loved every minute of it. However I soon realized the joy of peace, quiet, green hills and clean air when my life adventure took me to college in a small south west Virginia town. Life "went" at a much slower pace and you learned to appreciate the little things (as much as a college student can).

My many adventures have taken me from coast to coast as well as far north to Alaska, finally landing my husband and I here in Tooele. We are raising our family in one of the most family friendly towns. We have neighborhood schools (almost everyone walks to grade school)parks, an equestrian center/rodeo ground, swimming pools, bowling alley, movie theatre and more.

It is wonderful to live in a place that I am not afraid to let my children go outside and play. There are friends everywhere for them to play with. Most days you can find a group of children outside playing baseball, football or even hide and seek.

I can walk out my back door and sit listening to the leaves rustle in the wind and look out to some of the most beautiful mountains I have ever seen. Right in my back yard. The other night I came outside and was in awe of the amazing night sky. You could see billowing white clouds with the backdrop of the night sky accented by the stars. Yes, you can actually see the stars and make out the constellations. Right in my backyard. It was so peaceful and relaxing. It makes me grateful that I live in such an amazing place.

If you too want to love your backyard in Tooele County just let me know!
