I was delighted to see Christmas decoration going up in Vernal. Cobble Rock Park has beautiful wreaths hanging on the fences and entryway. There are santas hang on posts. They have decorated the light posts with red garland and snowflake tops. It won't be long and they will be turning on the Christmas lights. I can't wait to see the snowflakes lit up all the way down Main Street!

Thank you for the feature. The decorations made me excited for teh Christmas season. I will go home to Idaho Falls next week, and they will have lights all over downtown after Thanksgiving. I will be off to cut down a tree before I head back to Vernal for work.
Julie, Living in Florida, it's so easy to forget what time of year it is. I was shocked the other day when I went into a store and there was a Christmas tree. That was a wake up. Thanks for sharing the decorations.
It has been so nice here it is hard to think it is almost Thanksgiving.
My Sister is down there in Florida I am holding down the fort here. It would be nice to be on the beach. I should say it is always nice to be on the beach!
I think this year will be another disappointing one for our nation's merchants!
Vernal has been fortunate. They have a very low unemployment rate due to the natural gas exploration. They actually can't find people to work in fast food because it doesn't pay as much as the oil field. It does pay very well for fast food though. Many people are moving to Vernal and for now the town is doing well. We will watch and see watch will happen with a new president in office.
