The Kingstowne market shows consistency in December 2010 and Dcember 2011 in home sales. 60 homes closed in December of 2010 (condos, townhomes and single family’s) and 59 homes closed in December 2011.
The average sale price on homes sold in December 2010 was $425,722 and in December 2011 was $422,079.
In both December 2010 and 2011 homes were selling at approximately 93.5% of list price. Homes had an average of 80 days on the market in 2010 and 72 days on the market in 2011.

Kingstowne is a popular place to buy for many reasons – location being one of them. TWO metros - South Van Dorn and Franconia/Springfield are close by and offer parking and car sharing. VRE is also another transportation option located in close proximity of Kingstowne. If you prefer to drive the beltway and 395 are minutes away too. It doesn’t get much easier to get to work than coming from Kingstowne!
Military families have found Kingstowne to be a great location too. Fort Belvoir is located on the southern end of Kingstowne making for an easy “commute” to work.
In addition to its great location, Kingstowne offers endless amenities, movies, shopping, Top Golf, restaurants and a Farmers Market (May to October). Hilltop
Village Center is also coming soon and will house a Wegman’s and additional retail/office space, to get updates on opening day (expected in 2013) visit their website.
