Burger King is running a test in the Washington Metro area on the delivery option. Only select locations are part of the test; The Kingstowne Burger King being one of them. Delivery is set to begin on January 23, 2012. Any residence or business within 10 minutes of the Kingstowne location is eligible for delivery. A $2 delivery fee will be assessed and all orders must be at least $8-$10 depending on the location. The Backlick road Burger King is already offering the delivery option and the Burke and Annandale locations are also set to start on Monday the 23rd.

Burger King states that the quality of food will not suffer due to special packaging. I haven’t spoken with anyone that’s tried the service but, would be curious to know if the food arrived hot. Delivery is estimated to take 30-45 minutes. Orders can be made online.
