Although not a historic home, this private residence in Old Town Alexandria is one of my very favorites. Always immacuately "groomed", the proportions, the landscaping and the eye for detail are striking.
The side view is one for the imagination. What is behind the screened pergola? A patio? A swimming pool? A porch?
This just may be my dream home . . .
