Oh that would be a great concert. I can remember listening to BB King as a little girl with my dad! Thanks for sharing that one!
Cyrstal - We are going to have a blast here in Charlottesville!!!
That should be a great time!!
Charles- I saw BB two years ago, he was great. Enjoy the show.
Charles, I know BB. I sat in with his band in the early seventies. He grew up down the road from my mother's home in Indianola, Mississippi, which is also where he was born, and I've spent a fair amount of time around him over the years. His band will wallop your audience. My first experience with his band was at a little club in Memphis called the 'Nite Nite' club in 1971 during the Halloween weekend. I played trombone in the concert and jazz bands here at the University of Memphis, and, as luck would have it, I was alerted by a friend that he needed a brass player. I applied and I got the job. I was 19 years old. Ask him about the 'Nite Nite Club' at South Main and Butler, in front of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, and his eyes will light up. I think one of his old girlfriends owned the joint (not Lucille) :-) .Good luck with your event. I know it'll be great.
Charles, sounds like a great concert. I hope that you go and enjoy...
DAVID - That is fantastic!!!

Melissa - we will!!!
You lucky people to have B.B. coming to your neck-of-the-woods!!!
Have a wonderful time and take photos for us!
Charles - I have been to very few concerts but I did have the opportunity to see BB King and he was entertaining. I am sure this event will be sold out.
Hi Charles - Just love B.B. King. I remember as an underager in Montreal going to this pretty happening Blues Bar....ummm...pretty regularly (shhh...fake I.D.). It was just too good to pass up. I saw B.B. there, James Brown, Howling Wolf and many others. Should be a terrific concert, enjoy!
