Charles, sounds like a decent market ! Sounds like your market !!! I used to love visiting Charlottesville as one of my sisters went to UVA. The campus and the surrounding area is quite majestic. I would imagine that the University fuels the housing market as it does here in Philly (Univ of Penn, Temple, St Josephs, Drexel...etc to name a few)
UVA is our biggest employer and our biggest land owner!

Congrats on your escrow. That's a fabulous house. I used to visit Charlottesville as a traveling sales manager, and also when my sister went to UVA (Darden). Love, love, love Charlottesville, especially in the fall. One of my most memorably experiences was going to a local fair and taking at turn at churning apple butter. Yum!
