OK, it is not my pond but it is an amazing spot. Located West of Charlottesville in Albemarle County is Beaver Creek Reservoir. Just a great spot to enjoy the day.
Other than the fact that this is a nice lake, do you notice anything interesting in the above photo?

Yes that is a man in a canoe enjoying this place all to himself. But look a little closer (wish I had a better zoom lens) and you will see he has his dog with him.
We are so lucky to have such wonderful things to do in Charlottesville.
