Kohl's Department Store and Wal-Mart Supercenter coming to Haymarket, VA

Whether you are for it or against it, Kohl's Department Store and Wal-Mart Supercenter are coming soon to Haymarket, VA. If you live in the area, you no doubt have driven past the dirt being moved at the corner of Route 55 and US 15 in Haymarket, VA. It appears that Haymarket, VA officials and some residents are upset about the traffic as well as economic impact of the intersection in Haymarket, VA. The development site is just outside the Town of Haymarket, VA limits resulting in the Town of Haymarket, VA not receiving any tax revenue.

This photo is a depiction of a more attractive looking Wal-Mart. My hope is that Wal-Mart decides to use a similar type facade for the Haymarket, VA store.

Neighboring communities that will be impacted including Dominion Valley Country Club and Piedmont, which are North of the Town of Haymarket, VA off US 15.
