As of the afternoon of Saturday September 4th, 2010 there 109 homes listed as foreclosures on the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors MLS. The homes range from a $674,000, 4792 square foot, lake front property with a dock on Smith Mountain Lake, to a $14,900 ranch style home in Pulaski County!

In the traditional first time price buyer range of $100,000-$150,000 there are currently 30 homes available. These homes are distrbuted throughout Roanoke City, Salem, Vinton, Roanoke County, Franklin County, Bedford County and Craig County. Many of these homes qualify for special financing programs like the FHA 203k loan which allows you to include the costs of repairs to the home into the mortgage.
