Our First Kodak Moment
It was a beautiful spring day when my sister dropped by for a visit. All the men were out doing manly things, so we decided to have our spring outting and packed a picnic lunch. We took my 4 yr. old daughter to Maymont Park in Richmond. My daughter, Megan was bursting with excitement because she had been begging to go, so we set out on our adventure. We found a beautiful tree spread our blanket out and ate lunch watching the other familys play catch and fly kites.

As we were packing up, Megan wanted to play but there wasn't much for her to do while we cleaned up. So we decided to let her make her own first "Kodak Moment", I handed her my camera and with a little instruction, she was off...taking pictures of the trees, people, fountains anything and everything was subject to her lense that afternoon. Fortunately my sister had her camera along so I was able to capture my own "Kodak Moment" in the pure delight on her face as she ran around and recorded all the sites.
We went on to explore the zoo, the historical buildings, the waterfall, gardens and walking paths of the beautiful Maymont Park (which if you haven't visited you should put on your to do list)....she wouldn't let go of the camera as she clicked away. She has sense grown into her own digital camera, that she never misses the opportunity to point and click, always hoping for the perfect "Kodak Moment".
