It was a gorgeous day in Arlington, VA and Washington DC area, temperature in 80s. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, the spring was in the air, and I couldn't resist taking a drive to Washington DC to see cherry blossoms again.
My son stayed home sick today, so I had a choice of keeping him in bed all day on this fabulous day, or taking him with me for a walk among the cherry trees. I decided in favor of cherry blossoms and sunshine. It turned out to be just the right medicine, and by the end of our walk he felt much better.
The Tidal Basin, where cherry trees are in full bloom, was crowded with visitors. Everyone was enjoying this amazing day, full of sunshine, and gentle breeze. The pictures below were taken by my 10-year old son, with an exception of my two photos of him.

My son loved the ducks.
