Listings Residential active listings decreased, 11.6% year-over-year, to 14,004 (July 2011) from 15,834 (July 2010). Under Contract (Pending) Residential Sales Total residential under contract sales increased by 24.7% as compared to July 2010 (1,709 vs. 1,371). Sales Total property sales and total residential sales increased when compared to July 2010 showing increases of 5.4% and 4.7% respectively. Inventory There is currently 9.8 months’ inventory of residential homes on the market in the Hampton Roads area, a slight decrease from the previous month and down 2.6% from July last year.
