Over the last few weeks I have been very busy showing buyers properties in Prince William County. For the first time in years buyers can find single family homes in Prince William County for under $200K. In the past these homes were in the mid $300's. It's all changing due to the large foreclosure market in Prince William
County. We have more foreclosures than any other county in Virginia and there are over 6400 homes for sale. In the under $200K price range currently there are 471 homes for sale with 92 of these being Single Family Detached homes. This is the largest inventory in years.
There are so many great homes for sale and at wonderful prices. You can have a very nice sized home with a yard and garage. There were times that you had to go much further south to find a single family home in thie price range, but not any longer.
If you are looking to buy a foreclosure home or any home for that matter please give me a call. It's a fantastic time to buy in Prince William County.

Stacy, I just read Brian Block's post showing lots of inventory in Prince William. I thought you had to move to Kansas to get a great home in that price range!
Patricia, Not any longer. I was amazed at the number of homes available in that price range. They are mostly found in Dale City/Woddbridge and Manassas but there are plenty of homes to be found.
Stacy--Happy New Year! Great post! Let's catch up when you get a chance!
makes me wanna go to virginia
Steve, A home in this price range is usually an older home built in the 1960's or 70's and on a 1/4 an acre lot or smaller.. Homes that are newer construction tend to range from $350K all the way up to over a Million. It's a huge range.
Here are a few examples of the homes that you can buy:
