I just reviewed every home for sale in Caroline County. Boy there's a lot!

It looks like things are beginning to move again. Has the fear dissipated? Are the banks offering ridiculously low prices in order to get rid of extra inventory? Has the media been talking about gas prices more than housing prices? Are families beginning to consider a change in order to help their own income stretch further?

The answer is YES!

Prices have begun to plateau and families are considering ways to stretch their dollar. This may mean moving in closer to work or downsizing. 35 homes went under contract in July.

There are 137 Homes for sell under $200K. And families are beginning to look at them. Builders know this too! Have you seen the sign on Route 1 for Pendleton and Belmont? New townhouses for $169,000
