Does Home Staging Really Sell Homes Faster?

Does Home Staging Sell Homes Faster?

I get asked that question frequently, and it is a valid question. Here is how I answer it. The Realtors that I talk to and work with tell me that homes are sitting on the market anywhere from 60 - 150 days or more in their respective markets. Why? Well, there are a variety of reasons from being priced wrong, to location, to condition; the recent problems in the mortgage industry certainly isn't going to help.

However, all this aside, I can tell you that Professional Home Staging certainly does seem to provide an advantage in helping to sell a home more quickly than an unstaged home. Interior Concept Designs is a Professional Home Staging Company located in Virginia. We have helped sell 7 homes in the Northern Virginia area in the month of March. Some might chalk that up to luck; however, I believe those sales are a direct result of hiring a professional stager to help showcase those homes. In fact, not only did our staged homes sell in under 30-days, they all went under contract less than 10-days after being staged!!

Does home staging help sell homes faster? When you work with a Home Staging company with proven results? Absolutely.

Don't let your home get stuck on the market longer than it needs to. Contact Interior Concept Designs to find out how we can showcase your home and get it Sold.

ABSOLUTELY, when done right the house WILL SELL!! Too many realtors think that staging is just about moving some pieces of furniture around, but that is not the case. When we take the time to improve on the whole appearance of the home and the sellers are willing to make an investment in doing so, the house will definitely sell quicker, most times at the OPEN HOUSE
