We haven't had one of these all year...a snow day where everything really comes to a stop. Schools closed, plane flights canceled and too much snow to leave the house without a significant effort clearing the driveway (and then the roads still aren't properly cleared).
My two youngest kids are thrilled with their extra day off from school. My oldest, home on Spring Break from college, is irritated that they have Spring Break in the winter and now she has to deal with snow, too!
I am happy to have a leisurely morning. I am still working, but the pace is slow because I am limited to what I can do from my home office.
Thanks, Mother Nature for this little end-of-winter gift. Since we haven't had to deal with much snow this winter, I think we will all enjoy this little respite. I know that I will (of course, if the kids don't go back to school tomorrow and our roads still aren't cleared, I can't guarantee I will be quite so cheery then)!
