Happy New Year Everyone!

Some of the happenings in South Norfolk are the upcoming construction of a new Library on Poindexter St.

To be completed in early 2012

Street Scape on Poindexter - Phase II (I think) are underway from Decauter to Chesapeake, putting in new sewer lines - estimated project time - 6 months. Then VA Power will begin putting their lines underground. Lots of work but worth the mess

Also a new resturant opening up soon on Poindexter.. Smoke N Grill - Lunch Specials $4.95

Jordan Bridge work in ongoing!! Will have to check on that expected finished date.

As you can see South Norfolk is where Chesapeke Begins, lots of new updates, a busy civic leage and Business Consortium.
