I lived in Stafford County....a couple of miles from Aquia Harbor....for 13 years before moving to Tampa in 2000.  I didn't realize how much I missed that area until I read your blog.  I miss shopping at Potomac Mills and dining at Carlos O'Kelleys restaurant....no one makes chips and salsa, fried ice cream or margaritas like they do.  We spent many pleasurable weekends boating on Aquia Creek and the Potomac River.  Stafford County has great schools as well.

Well the people in this community seem to have everything.  Your description made it appealing.

Lenn, you are on a roll...love the new picture. Great description of an area ready for some buyers!

Lenn - as always, your local content posts are great!  I love how you put a mix of content in them - info for everyone.

Ann

Lenn- I want to buy everyone I see.. I am amazed by what you get for the price..  $400,000 will get you a small(600 sqft) 1 bedroom condo conversion about 2 miles  from the water

Judy Kincaid - Potomac Mills got it's own ramp from Route 95.  How's that for shopping power

Jennifer Fivelsdal - It's amazing what money will buy if you can go "2 counties removed from D.C."

Gena Riede - Thanks Gena.  I want to beef up buyer traffic to that area.  This can't hurt.  Let's see if Google picks it up.

Nick Sudano - Yep.  Water front is a "finite resource".

Jeff Dowler - Thanks Jeff.  This is a wonderful community.

Patricia Aulson - Careful, Active Rain is addicting

Ann Cummings - Thanks Ann.  These Localism blogs are an integral part of my strategy these days.

Kaye Thomas - HA! !   This is not property on the Pacific Ocean front.  This is an inlet off the Potomac River about 150 miles from
the Atlantic Ocean.

Thanks everyone for commenting.  I think this is the first LOCAL article that I've gotten featured.
I'll be adding a map in a day or so.  Still working on it.

Nice work on the profile.  It is time consuming but it really makes an impact.

Sounds like a wonderful place to live and play.  Thanks for your efforts and especially all of the nice photos you included.

Wow....that was a great post. I love the picture. It looks like a gorgeous area and the houses are beautiful. I'd live there, if I were in the area.
