I put an offer in on a house in Burbage Grant in Suffolk, Va two weeks ago. I now have approval. The seller was using a company that is supposed to be helping Veterans with their short sales. Apparently it worked in this case. Very impressive.

what was the company helping vets?
Thanks!
Gene,
I am very pleased that you received your answer in 15 days and posted about the positive experience. I need to do the same. The last 2 short sales I did this year went rather quickly. One took 2 weeks the other about the same to get the approval. I am amazed by the number of agents in our area with 6 plus months of waiting. In both my cases I contacted the bank myself and just called every other day to check the status. Some say this will slow the process but I feel we need to be proactive. If you could please share the company your seller's were using, it would be nice to have.
Congrats and keep up the good work selling!
That's good to hear. Not all banks are slow, and generally they seem to be getting a little bit better at resonding quickly. Congrats!
