Virginia Is For Lovers is Fourty

Who knew it would last this long? Imagine a slogan being fourty years old and still going strong. The phrase was meant to be open-ended, memorable, short and should I say just a bit provocative. I don't understand how phrases like that bring people in but I guess if advertise enough people will see it and automatically think of Virginia. I should have come up with that for my motto. Here are some variations.
