Gorgeous Virginia Countryside Homes and Stunning Gardens... What a Way To Spend a Day.

Yesterday my best friend in life encouraged me   no she insisted I take a day off and join her and her sister for the Historic Garden Week  Orlean Country Tour put on by the Garden Club of Virginia. She said, let's do something fun, something that we both love.  What's that I asked " she said looking at gorgeous home and walking beautiful gardens!" 

Well, she didn't have to twist my arm to hard. What I thought and had planned for was a few hours away from the office. Ha!

When we began to walk up to the first home and saw the barns and flowers and the tree's and the blue skies above,I turned off my cell phone! At that moment, everything else could wait. Worse yet, I didn't bring my camera. I was so taken with the beauty that I was seeing, I whipped out my iPhone and walla I captured some amazing photos. Enjoy a taste of the Virginia Courtryside just fourty minutes from Lake Ridge Virginia.
