Does Your World Seem Black & White? Try the Colors of St Croix

It occurred to me while driving home from town the other afternoon that my everyday experience here is very different from what it used to be in the states. It's March and it's 85 degrees, and I spotted every color of the rainbow on the way home. The sea is about 12 colors of blue.....it's just amazing. The bouganvilla are pink, orange, red, burgandy, white, lilac and brilliantly abundant. The Ginger Thomas flowers are amazingly prolific and a bright, vibrant yellow. The hills sport about 12 shades of green. The sunsets render the sky a flaming pink and purple.

Everywhere you look there is color, even on a cloudy day!

My partner put it well. He said, "Even if you get in a bad mood or are feeling down about something, this place is working on you. You can't be negative for long with all this color and beauty around you."
