Okemo Mountain Innkeepers Ski Race on Okemo Mountain-in Ludlow Vermont, the folks of Vermont and New Hampshire and folks from other parts of our Great Country, know that there sure is mighty fine snow skiing in this here part of the Country for them to enjoy doing.

Will folks do you have your snow skis looked over, waxed up and ready to go? The temperatures sure have been falling, the snow guns are fired up and ready to go. Will folks its sure the time of year to start thinking again about either to take part or to attend the Innkeepers Race Series, which will be taking place starting on the 3rd of January 2012 on the Okemo Mountain. The races will be held between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 12:30 P.M. All skiers and riders of the age of 18 and over of any ability sure are welcome.





Okemo Mountain Innkeepers Ski Race on Okemo Mountain-in Ludlow Vermont, teams need to consist of a maximum of six racers, plus there is a minimum requirement that at least one of the racers must be female. All local businesses sure are encouraged to form a team and participate. Anyone which would like to participate and are not on a team already, they sure will be mighty glad to help you find a spot on a team or if you would like, folks are also able to participate as an independent racer.

The races will be held on Tuesdays through the 20th of March 2012, with the exception of Presidents Week. There will be three trails used, which the main race trail will be Wardance, plus they will be using Bull Run and Chief. If a member of your team should become injured, a team is able to pick a permanent substitute for the remainder of the season. Should your team have a member become unavailable to race on your team for some other reason. They ask that you please do not abuse the substitution rules.





Okemo Mountain Innkeepers Ski Race on Okemo Mountain-in Ludlow Vermont, any substitutions made after the 8th week will be made at the sole discretion of the Innkeepers Race Committee. Any injured or otherwise incapacitated team member may rejoin the team at any time during the season, both the substitute and original member results will count towards the team's standing, but individual standings will only count if 8 out of 10 races are completed. If for some reason a member is not able to race one week, a team is not allowed to use a temporary substitute which will count for results.
If your team should field a temporary substitute, the time for that competitor will not count for that week, and unless your team fields the minimum of four registered teammates, your team results will not qualify for that week. The results will only count should that temporary substitute become a permanent team member for the rest of the season.





If you do not have a seasons pass you may purchase a discounted lift ticket at the administration office for that day only.Discounted tickets are $20.00.To place in your division, you must make 8 out of the 10 races of the season.The same goes for team scoring.If you race all 10 races, only your best 8 times will determine where you place. Very important:Your starting division may be on an interim basis.Individual overall times will be looked at after your 4th race, and if there is a need to move you into another division,it will happen at that time.This means if you don’t complete your 4th race until the 6th week, you may still be moved.




Okemo Mountain Innkeepers Ski Race on Okemo Mountain-in Ludlow Vermont, they are hopping, that will discourage sand-bagging! Points are awarded to every finisher for each race in all divisions. Those individuals who have the most points at the end of the season will win their respective divisions, and team standings are based on total team points accrued each week from the four best finishes from your team members. There is also an award for the fastest overall team. These two divisions are the Cruickshank Division and the Kollar Division respectively.

The Fine Print: Please fill out this application and return it to the Race Department, ATTN: Chris, Okemo Mountain Resort, 77 Okemo Ridge Road, Ludlow, Vermont05149, along with a payment of $200, or if in the Senior Divisions, $150, or if you are hosting a party, $125. Okemo employee teams are also $150. After-Innkeepers parties will be scheduled possibly before this form is returned, as I may be contacting establishments soon. Please return this form with your payment in a timely manner so that everyone can be registered by the first race. As weather conditions permit, our first race will be on Tuesday the 3rd of January 2012
