First Time Home Buyer and Repeat Home Buyer, you need to have a contract signed on your dream home by the 30th of April 2010. In order for you and your family to receive up to $6,500.00 as a Repeat Home Buyer , and if you are a First Time Home Buyer you can receive up to a $8,000.00 tax credit from Uncle Sam!!!


Homes that are priced above $800,000.00 are not eligible for either the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit or the Repeat Home Buyer Tax Credit.

Neither the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit nor the Repeat Home Buyer Tax Credit have to be repaid unless you selle the home or you and your family cease to use the home as your principal residence within three years after the initial purchase. Taxpayers must submit a copy of the HUD-1 settlement statement and IRS Form 5405 to claim either the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit or the Repeat Home Buyer Tax Credit.
