Fireside Chats to be held in Saxtons River Vermont-Windham County Vermont, this here is the first of a series of chats to be held.

These here Fireside Chats will be focusing on Local History, and will begin on Monday the 9th of January 2012. The chat will begin at 5:30 P.M. and is being held in the parlor of the Saxtons River Inn, which is located at 27 Main Street in Saxtons River, Vermont. This chat's topic which is titled Who is Here? Folks will be taken on an exploration of the clubs and organizations which have added to the Village's past and present.

Fireside Chats to be held in Saxtons River Vermont-Windham County Vermont, the list of some of the clubs and organizations which will be covered will include the Grange, the Odd Fellows, Rebekahs, the Historical Society, Nature Club, Saxtons River Band, the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.), the Outing Club, Main Street Arts, Club 39 and others will be talked about. Each of the different Fireside Chat events are Free and open to the public to attend.

There will also be a cash bar available to folks, plus those which attend are encouraged to stay after the chat to enjoy dinner. In the case of bad weather, Main Street Arts will have a message on its answering machine, folks just need to call 802-869-2960
