Post 489, for that 300,000 plus mile stone!

Back when I joined the ActiveRain community, on 29 March 2007- 2 years, 3 months, and 22 days.

I sure would have not dreamed that I would get to this mile stone blogging here. You see before joining the ActiveRain Real Estate Network, I had never been to a blogging community, to read or comment on a blog post.

I sure had no idea as to what one was to really write about or even how to really get started blogging. I even missed up with commenting to folks back then. For about the first, few months. I did not even write enough words in the comments that I was maken to get points for them.

Here I sit writing my 489th post, that will take my little ole Blogging Homestead over the 300,000 mile stone. On the eve of one of the most importent Holidays of our Country, Memorial Day. It sure does feel good.

Now I want Y'all to know I sure did not get here on my own. I had a lot of questions back then. And at times beat my head.

Like how in the world do ya add a photo to your post, how to add a link, how to add a some of them there cool widets other members on their blog post pages, how do ya go about branding ones self.

Not to worry there is ways one of the other fine members in the community, that sure is willing to give ya a helping hand. With any question you may have. And I sure did get a lot of help from others.

I sure have made a lot of really good friends in this here community of ActiveRain! Carl and Ceil Winters, Shirley Parks, Judi Morgan, Russell Lewis, Brenda Tressler, Ricki and Don Eichler, Lynn 911, Robin Scott, Tucson Kent, Frank Bailey, and many many other fine folks in the community.

I want to give each and every one of the folks named up above a spacial- thank you, they all have helped to get this here old cowboy to this here mile stone!!

Thank Y'all very kindly!!

I sure am Honored to call each of ya, my friend, and to let eavyone know ya are as well!!

You'll want to be sure to stop by each and every one of these real fine folks blog's, and subscribe to them. You sure won't be sorry ya did. They are some of the nicest folks ya would ever want to meet. And they sure do write lots of real fine blog posts to read and comment on.

Folks here become more than just a friend, they become more like family to ya! When ya don't see them for a bit your going to want to find out if they are okay!

Will I don't want to talk your leg off, so I'll end this here post. With- two things ya really want remember when blogging here in the AcriveRain. Be yourself and have lots of fun as you blog and comment.
