Did you know that Robert Frost lived in a Cabin in Vermont during the summer months?

This is was his cabin

Cabins have an important place in our Country's History. The first settlers built cabins to live in. Then later the pioneers and frontiersmen who settled the west built similar homes. Writwes throughout History have used cabins as their retresats in which they could write in peace without any distractions.

So it's really only fitting that Robert Frost, would have his self a cabin.

In 1921 ne moved to Vermont where he was a professor at Middlebury College until his death in 1963. During the summer months, he lived in his cabin several miles from town, near what is now known as Bread Loaf Writers Conference,

His cabin was built using log slab siding over asphalt felt and contained all the things that a writer needed back then. Robert Frost's cabin to this day still sits on the same site. Its open to the public during the summer months.

So if you are visiting or Relocationing to Vermont or even to New Hampshire, be sure to visit Robert Frost's cabin.

Cabins are so cool, I have one listing on 325 acres here that is the coolest little cabin ever.  No electricity, out-house, the springs outside provide running water, (runs by the cabin into the pond) but it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, wish I could afford it!!!

Howdy there Steve

Cabins sure are that. That sure does sound like a real fine listing you have there. Maybe we can come up with an old Sears and Roebuck catalog to put in that little ole out-house. LOL

Now that is someting fine to have with a cabins, an out-house.Sure does sound like my kind of place also.
