Tree Lighting Event taking place in Springfield Vermont-Windsor County Vermont, folks and families are invited to come on out for a mighty enjoy able time at the Springfield Tree Lighting is being held this day of Friday the 2nd of December 2011.

The Springfield Chamber of Commerce and Springfield on the Move are hosting the Springfield, Vermont Downtown Christmas Celebration. The first thing folks will want to do, is to stop at the Springfield on the Move Office, which is located on Main Street in Springfield, Vermont, in order to pick up a map of the Springfield downtown area, then folks will want to start visiting the different businesses which will be listed on the map. This mighty fine event will be starting at 4:30 P.M. When you visit the businesses, you'll be able to get a sticker for your map.

, after your map is filled of the stickers, then you'll want to go pick up your prize from the Springfield on the Move Office. Then at 5:00 P.M. folks will want to go to the Peoples United Bank's lot to enjoy singing Christmas CarolsSpringfield Community Band will be providing the music and the Springfield Community Players, as Dickens Carolers will be leading the Caroling. and to wait for the arrival of Santa, which he'll be arriving about 5:30 P.M.




Santa's helpers, Alex and Barb Greer will be bring Santa to downtown Springfield in a horse-drawn wagon in order to light the Community Christmas Tree at 5:30 P.M. after Santa's arrives, plus he will greet all the kids and will then lead all the folks and kids to the Springfield Town Library's Open House, which everyone will be able to take pictures with Santa and enjoy mighty fine refreshments.
