Have you ever given much thought as to where the products you are using come from or how they get to you?
Not many people do.
And why would you?
After doing some research on our local county's site for recycling, I noted a link to a site that talked about everyday products that we use and how they impact our planet.
For instance, did you know that by drinking bottled water, which is good for you, it can have nearly double the impact on the environment by the production of the bottles, shipping them to a store and then processing them once they are used.
A better solution would be to buy a filter for your faucet at home and carry your water around in your own container.
It is the small things that can add up and make a big difference either negative or positive. The link I am providing to the Carbon Conscious Consumer has a lot of valuable tips.
Together, through the little things, we can make a difference!
