Columbia Neighborhood is quiet and primarily made up of many charater homes from the late 1800's to 1940's and 50's . This neighborhood is the second oldest neighborhood in Bellingham and the Columbia district has a strong sense of communtiy. Along the southwest end of Columbia lies Eldrige Avenue overlooking Bellingham Bay and many of Bellingham's Historic homes can be found along Eldridge and within a block or two.
