Retail for lease in Bellingham, WA - Former The Market at Fairhaven grocery store at 3125 Old Fairhaven Parkway. Last December, the grocery store named The Market at Fairhaven closed and became the third failed grocery concept to make an attempt at success in this 40,000 square foot retail warehouse building. It has become rather obvious, at least for the short term, that another grocery store is probably not the best tenant to take over the property in 2012.

I wanted to ask what all of you think? What is missing on this area of Bellingham that would occupy half or all of such a large building? Church? Gym? Other type of retail? Let me know what you think.
