Lummi Island Washington

Lummi Island is located just west of Bellingham Bay and a short 5 minute ferry ride from gooseberry point. There are many things to do on the island, fishing, hiking. The island is not large, and has a small town feel, you can practically drive around the island in about 5 minutes. Everybody knows each other and works together There are a little grocery store, that carries most of your necessities.

The lummi island housing market is pretty active, while house values are low compared to other San Juan Islands. You can purchase a waterfront home on lummi Island for around #500,000-700,000 the same home on Orcas island, a mile away would run you about #1,000,000-1,500,000. There is a few misconceptions about the island that keep the values low. One of them being, buyers think that Lummi Island is part of Lummi Nation which is not.
