Point Roberts has so much going for it. I am amazed with every exposure. This Sunday at Lily Point there will be a benefit for the Conservation Society. They have organized two 2.25 hikes. One led by Sheila Byers of Nature Vancouver will take you to the marine invertebrates at Lily Point and the sand flats of Maple Beach. The other benefit walk will be led by Craig Jacks the local naturalist with an emphsis on marine vistas, bald eagles, and old-growth trees. An event not to be missed. You need to be there at 10:30 a.m. at the end of APA Road in Pt Roberts. Be sure to tell us all about it if you go. Mt listings are at 660 Calhoun Dr and 297 Boundary Bay.
