The Cracker Factory, built in 1880, will be one of the stars of this year's AAUW (American Association of University Women) Kitchen Tour. This downtown artists loft will be worth the price of the ticket to the show, scheduled for Sat. April 30th at 10:00 AM. The proceeds of this tour will go toward local education projects.
This wonderful small building located down a small alley way off Washington Street in Port Townsend had been sorely neglected before my clients purchased in in 2008. This couple is in the business of decorating and really did a number on this wonderful old bit of Port Townsend history. I was lucky enough to have a private tour and could not imagine this place could ever look so great. The character has been maintained with the original brick, incredibly high ceilings on all 3 floors, refurbished wood flooring, and now boasts a new gourmet kitchen.

There are 4 other Kitchens on tour in the Uptown area, one waterfront home, plus 2 kitchens on the outskirts of town.
