Whitman County Association of Realtors Offers $1,000 Scholarship

Submit an Essay By May 1, 2009 For a Chance At a $1,000 Scholarship For Tuition or Living Expenses!

The Whitman County Association of Realtors is offering a $1,000.00 Scholarship to a current Whitman County High School student who is accepted and plans on attending Washington State University in the Fall of 2009.  What is great about this scholarship is that it can be applied to either tuition or housing expenses.  Every little bit certainly helps!

How do you apply?  Well, first you must be accepted into WSU.  You must also have a letter of nomination from a school official, as well as a letter of recommendation from a non-relative as well.  You will also need to submit a short essay on how obtaining a university eduction will help them to help others.    

The deadline for application for the scholarship is May 1, 2009.  To apply either contact your local school counselor or download an application at the Whitman County Association of Realtors Website.
