Hi Rich,

Love  your series dedicated to First Time Home Buyers.  You did an absolutely fantastic job conveying the many measures that a good agent takes to make things "happen"!

Lisa & Bob - Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words. It was a lot of fun putting it together. I've had many people ask for permission to reprint and publish the entire series which is a HUGE compliment!

Rich- I give all my clients a calendar with important dates on it.. including when to turn on the utilities.. seems to work well.. very nice series...

Rich,

Great post..I just wish more of the new agent and actually some seasoned agents would read this..because a lot of times they simply do not guide the buyer correctly and leave out the important things and just worry about the check...if they took a little more time to follow a plan there would be less nervous first time buyers.

Neal - I think many times agents just don't want to take the time to educate their buyers. They'd rather just take care of everything themselves and say "Trust me!" rather than take the time to explain everything to them. Maybe these articles will help those agents...thanks for your comments!

Kaye - that's a good idea as well...thanks for stoppin' by!

Hey Rich, this is a great post...you've spent lots of time with the details through the series.  I bookmarked it.  Thanks!!!

Rich, I read all the articles in the series.  Great information!  I think it's an excellent read for first time buyers.

What a great series this was, Rich. Your buyers are most fortunate to have this education from you.

Like Kaye, I do a calendar as well, along with a checklist of critical things.

Thanks for sharing.

Jeff
