Some days your house burns up... other days it burns down...

I heard once... "Well you know, somedays your house burns up, and other days it burns down." I was playing clubs back then and this guy was sitting at the bar talking to the bartender. Funny how it stuck with me and became my iconic snap your finger wake up now device to get me out of less than stellar moods. I don't take myself to seriously (yet I will confess at times) I catch me on occassion way too serious about things that don't merit the investment I have in my fowl mood knowing I don't have any control over events anyhow. I love this saying because it illustrates for me that the flip side of a negative, is not another negative. And, it's not about luck, it's about attitude. So I try to choose mine wisely.

We all do a lot everyday attempting to bring greater value to our clients.

Yet, some days just go better than others...

I'll stop here, yet I hope you enjoy someone else trying to make it happen today and well it just goes somewhere else... That's not a bad thing... it just is... and it was fun after all... attempting countless times to do my 30 second elevator speech and tripping over my tongue etc... In the end, it feels good to just have a good laugh, share it with others, and look forward to tomorrow. I am blessed with many friends, loved ones, clients, and my online families, I don't resist nor ignore that I'm a dweeb on occassion...

The laughter you hear behind the camera is my coworker Matt Sweet. We just left a networking group in downtown Puyallup, Washington and headed across the street on a beautiful June Wednesday morning to shoot some video spots...
