Sparky's 'Top Pick' of Homes on the Kitsap Peninsula WA 06/25/07

The inspiration for beginning this on-going series of 'Top Picks' was the result of a recent backlink 'click-through' experience I had while frequenting one of my favorite blogsites, "The Real Estate Tomato."

The Ketchup King himself, Jim Cronin, was plugging a recent article by 1st-time RET contributor, Edde Anderson, of C.F. Anderson & Co, who posed the question, "Should MLS Brokers be Allowed to Blog about other MLS Brokers Listings."

Many of the respondents felt that such practices were highly unethical and discouraged their use. I, on the other hand, had a differing viewpoint (gee, fancy that!) And it's this differing viewpoint that led me to creating a new weekly series on my 'other' blog.

To find out more about my particular opinion and the resultant new series, hop on over to SOUNDBITEBLOG (opens up into a separate window)

Come on, now! Don't be shy!

depends on state laws and mls rules from my understanding. In Ohio long before blogging there was a case about advertising listings online that are not yours being basically "bait and switch" and not consumer friendly. It came from a consumer complaint.
